History

The Wireless Communications Lab operates under the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, USA.  The lab was started by Professor Behrouz Farhang-Boroujeny in 2000.  Over the years, research has been conducted in cognitive/adaptive radios, filter bank multi-carrrier  (FBMC) communications, and detection techniques for code division multiple access (CDMA) and multiple input multiple output (MIMO) systems.  Current research pursuits are described on the Projects menu.
